About the Spangold Retriever and Springerdoodle

Picture
The Spangold Retriever is a breed that consists of a cross between a golden retriever and an English springer spaniel, two breeds which are quite opposed in terms of demeanor. While these two dog breeds may have quite a few differences, you will find they complement each other quite well when they are crossbred. Our puppies tend to weigh between 42-62 pounds depending on gender. Some of them have the retriever face while others have the springer face. Still others are a combination of the two.
  1. While puppies from most breeds tend to be highly energetic, Spangold Retriever puppies are much like older examples of their breed, preferring to comfortably lounge about. The Spangold Retriever’s laziness originates from the relatively slow pace of both of its parents, but mainly the English Springer Spaniel.
  2. From a very early age, Spangold Retrievers are excellent family dogs. If there are young children in the home, don’t be afraid of bringing one of these dogs into your home as they are exceptionally kind-hearted and caring. A child will significantly benefit from the presence of one of these dogs.
  3. The Spangold Retriever inherits many qualities from the golden retriever as it is a caring dog that will always stay by its owner’s side, no matter the situation.
This breed is also brilliant and easy to train, meaning that a Spangold Retriever is an excellent option for those who are newer pet owners.
These dogs will often express their dismay by barking. If you hear your Spangold Retriever barking excessively, then you know that something is bothering it.
Keep in mind that these dogs have finely-honed hunting instincts, so you will want to keep them away from smaller critters that they may catch.
If you are searching for a dog that is exceptionally friendly, few can match the Spangold Retriever.

Springerdoodles (aka Sproodles) are a mix of a Standard Poodle and an English Springer Spaniel. Springerdoodles are exceptionally loyal and friendly. They are known for their sweet and playful temperament. The Springerdoodle dog breed likes to follow his/her family everywhere, and each one has an insatiable love for life. These puppies are intelligent, inquisitive, quick to learn, very loyal and should make wonderful companions.

ADVANTAGES OF SPRINGERDOODLES (These advantages are typically the case, but cannot be guaranteed to be true of each individual doodle puppy.)

  2. Healthier due to hybrid vigor
  3. Hypoallergenic
  4. Very loyal and friendly
